Vicky Walker Writer - Life, Love, God, Etc...

My next book Real Life Love is a work in progress about the contrast between Christian relationship advice and lived experience. Nearly 1500 people shared their thoughts in an extensive survey. If you want to get email updates about the book as it develops, sign up here.

If you want me to write for you, please get in touch at I have written for The Independent and Cosmopolitan, and am a regular contributor to a range of magazines and websites. I also have a sporadically updated blog for the more random things. You can read my work on Threads here, about society, sex, theatre, leadership, destiny and more, through the lens of faith. I contribute regularly to award-winning dating gurus Christian Connection’s blog, with a column called I was wondering... and I write for Christian Today, often about women and faith, but have also covered pick-up artists, Christian conferences, slavery, and Adele (for legal reasons I should probably make clear those things aren’t connected. Especially not Adele). I’ve written for Rhythms on ethical fashion, for Preach magazine on money, on women and the church for Church Times, and about the co-opting of war footage for advertising for Christians on the Left. I’ve also written for Funny Women about One Direction, cold weather, how not to propose, and animals.

My last book was Do I have to be good all the time? and other awkward questions. You can read the first chapter here If you’re a UK reader you can buy the book here and US readers here.
